The TOTEM System is a technical facility and consists as depicted in this website of old and reliable technologies. Without excluding new technologies as Fuel Cell technology.

The single units are a Bio-Gas Plant, a Gas Turbine, a Steam Turbine, Water Mills, Wind Mills and Solar Panels.

It is co called Low-Tech. But there is no reason why they shouldn’t be in High End versions! Besides Low Tech is appropriate for all the people in the world.

The new approach of Nesseq.com is the integration of all single units to one facility.

The TOTEM System treats the waste water, produces potable water and is CO2 neutral!

That to built this facility in a neighborhood might be too complicated for the regular citizen, even in a Co-operative.

For whom it shouldn’t be any difficulty to built it right away are colleges and universities.

Most universities and colleges are located in a campus. A place where to built a working model of the TOTEM System already exists.

Further the know how is concentrated on the campus.

Perhaps the investment might be a little difficult, but the faculty of economics could solve the problem. The financing is actually a minor problem, since if the TOTEM System is to supply a substantial part of the energy demand.  That in itself would be, with the present energy prices, be profitable.

The profitability will rise according to the rising energy prices. And that the energy prices will rise is very probable.

This is an important point but only for a university only a side effect. The real task is a ethical one, to prepare the students for the future. To teach them not just to look in a limited perspective – forward, but to tech them to look around all 360 degrees and in every dimension!

Because for live do we learn and not for school (Non scola, sed vitae discimus), although it sometimes seems the other way round (Non vitae, sed scola discimus)!

Sounds like a very great idea to built a working model of the TOTEM system, i hope this will be taken seriously by someone.

Fuel Cell technology is a great thing, every fuel cell has two electrodes, one positive and one negative, called, respectively, the anode and cathode. The reactions that produce electricity take place at the electrodes.Every fuel cell also has an electrolyte, which carries electrically charged particles from one electrode to the other, and a catalyst, which speeds the reactions at the electrodes.

Hydrogen is the basic fuel, but fuel cells also require oxygen. One great appeal of fuel cells is that they generate electricity with very little pollution much of the hydrogen and oxygen used in generating electricity ultimately combine to form a harmless byproduct, namely water.
