Ying and YangThere are some people, hopefully a marginal group in society, who deny Climate Change and even Evolution. Those people do not believe in a dynamic Evolution but rather in a static, once and for all, Creation. The Creationists (1) are perhaps a minority within a minority, but as the Republican candidates (2) for presidency 2012 showed, they are pretty influential.  What I mean is, that every religion is globally speaking a minority and the Creationists are a minority within.

For Creationists god is eternal and therefore time does not exist for him. or her or it, and therefore god does not change at all. The perfection itself. Time has no consequences for these people and nothing ever changes.

A rhetorical question, all of you who deny evolution, were you born as grown ups? Or were you born, just like the rest of us, as babies? And then you have evolved in time to become adults. And, I wish you all a long and healthy life, but soon you will die. Just like the rest of us, I might add. What is the span of a human life compared to history? If your life does not convince you, that evolution is part of life nothing will convince you. And nothing will convince you, that in this world the climate is the most volatile part of nature and life.

In the the preface of the DTV Atlas of World History, in German, the changing climate is described as a major factor in the sudden rise of the ancient High Cultures of India, Egypt, Assyrian, Greece and Rome. I hope I have not omitted some other important cultures, if I did I apologize. The rational of this statement is, that during the Ice Age such a development was hardly possible. The climatic conditions were too hard, survival was the most important task for the people then. As soon as the climate changed for the better human kind could start to blossom. And blossom we did. Compared to our present civilization the ancient High Cultures were pretty much developed. Their achievement should be considered even higher than ours, because our present civilization is based on those ancient cultures and they have started from scratch.

Perhaps god has no concept of time, but at least for our universe, Time is a dimension of its on. Time is of critical importance in life. Human, and especially Geo-history, is also evolution of sorts.  The essence of evolution is the ability to adept in time to a changing situation and environment. This means in the course of evolution the climate has changed several times.

But of course the Creationist deny Evolution. The world according to the Bible is only six thousand years old. Give and take a couple of years here and there. One generation is considered to be thirty years. That makes two hundred generation! That number is manageable. While if one believes in Evolution and that it took a very long time until human kind could flourish and reach such heights, than where am I as an individual and as part of the human race in this cosmic dimension? We are simply getting lost in the vastness of time and space. And here we are, on a tiny island on the seams of a mediocre galaxy. Not just in modern physics the Statistical Probability reigns, it has become an integral part of our culture. The statistical probability is very much the basis for insurance companies to determine all kind of cases they would have to cover and how much the insured have to pay for such an eventuality.

Let us play a little game with the statistical probability..

How high is the probability to get in a Lottery the jackpot? One to some million. How high is the probability, that on planet Earth will be the right conditions for life to evolve? The probability would be a lot smaller, one in a couple of billions? What the probability that nature will create intelligent beings who are able to contemplate their existence. Chances are getting even smaller. But the last question, how big the chances, that you are this person? Infinitesimal.

With this incredible statistical probability of Life, my life, my responsibility towards life on earth rises reciprocally.

And now we have come to a point where we have to ask ourselves, whether we have outsmarted ourselves? Does the climate change or doesn’t it? Even the most self assured Creationist has to have a quantum of doubt: What if I am wrong?

The question we all have to ask is, if a change of the climate was the reason for the rise of cultures, could a new change of the climate mean the end of culture?

When someone writes an post he/she keeps the image of a user in his/her mind that how a user can understand it.
Therefore that’s why this piece of writing is amazing. Thanks!

I do believe all the ideas you have introduced in your
post. They’re really convincing and can certainly work. Still,
the posts are very short for newbies. Could you please prolong them
a little from subsequent time? Thank you for the post.

      Hi Dave,
I would certainly like to write more and longer articles but it is very difficult. I am not what you would call a natural born writer. So I am sorry but this is the best I can do.
      All the best,
      Max

There is none. This earthquake is asaesictod with subduction of an oceanic plate, and has nothing to do with climate change. While retreating ice sheets can cause a certain type of earthquake, this is not one of those and that type of earthquake would never be this large.

Okay, here’s the bombshell. The vnoialcc eruption in Iceland, since its first spewing of vnoialcc ash has, in just FOUR DAYS, NEGATED EVERY SINGLE EFFORT you have made in the past five years to control CO2 emissions on our planet, all of you.Of course you know about this evil carbon dioxide that we are trying to suppress, that vital chemical compound that every plant requires to live and grow, and to synthesize into oxygen for us humans, and all animal life.I know, it’s very disheartening to realize that all of the carbon emission savings you have accomplished while suffering the inconvenience and expense of: driving Prius hybrids, buying fabric grocery bags, sitting up till midnight to finish your kid’s “The Green Revolution” science project, throwing out all of your non-green cleaning supplies, using only two squares of toilet paper, putting a brick in your toilet tank reservoir, selling your SUV and speedboat, vacationing at home instead of abroad, nearly getting hit every day on your bicycle, replacing all of your 50 cents light bulbs with $10.00 light bulbs well, all of those things you have done have all gone down the tubes in just four days. The vnoialcc ash emitted into the Earth’s atmosphere in just four days yes FOUR DAYS ONLY by that volcano in Iceland, has totally erased every single effort you have made to reduce the evil beast, carbon. And there are around 200 active volcanoes on the planet spewing out this crud any one time EVERY DAY.I don’t really want to rain on your parade too much, but I should mention that when the volcano Mt Pinatubo erupted in the Philippines in 1991, it spewed out more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere than the entire human race had emitted in its entire YEARS on earth. Yes folks, Mt Pinatubo was active for over one year, think about it.Of course I shouldn’t spoil this touchy-feely tree-hugging moment and mention the effect of solar and cosmic activity and the well-recognized 800-year global heating and cooling cycle, which keep happening, despite our completely insignificant efforts to affect climate change.

Please let me know how you are able to watermark the photos in the new google images search, this new google images is destorying my bandwidth and i am losing visitors, i really like the way you made it in your site when someone click on “show original image” they get redirected the post page or to where the image is located.

Please tell me what plugin and how you did it, and what amazed me is how you got your own name on the watermark on the image itself, this is amazing.

      Hello Monica,

My webmaster is using “ByREV WP-PICShield – HOTLINK Defence” Plugin, It’s a free plugin, and this is the best plugin to protect your photos from hotlinking and from bandwidth theft, you cab edit the custom watermark image (watermark.png) by photoshop or corel photopaint and have it saved as a transparental image and have it hosted in your root directory.

      Max.

I was just searching for this information for a while. After 6 hours of continuous Googleing, finally I got it in your web site. I wonder what is the lack of Google strategy that do not rank this type of informative sites in top of the list. Usually the top web sites are full of garbage.
