Every child is born without being asked. All those people telling you otherwise, are simply victims of their own wishful thinking. I, the author was obviously born, but I can’t remember being asked, whether I wanted to or not.

Fact is, I was born and I was only one amongst millions. And nobody was asked. Also the children, who are born now, were and are not asked. Every new born child today, is one amongst 7 billion citizens of this world.

Today world population is about 7 billion people. When the new born baby will reach the age of 39 world population will reach 9 billion. A growth rate of around 30%! Together with a, possible, Climate Change a very explosive situation.

Everyone in the 1.World should praise his/her luck. Even beggars don’t die of starvation. But the fact of existing poverty in the affluent societies proves exactly the point. Poverty is rampant, all over the world. Just that periodically people in the 3. World indeed starve in masses to death. We are not able to provide 7 billion people with the most basic requirements to live a decent live.

Why would anyone assume it will be any better with 9 billion people on earth? A Climate Change aggravates the situation, a worst-case scenario.

This is the world we present our children. Every child, born around the millenium and of, at least, average intelligence, knows or anticipates that something is probably going terribly wrong. That it is becoming fashionable to talk about Sustainability, doesn’t really help to make the future less bleak for the children. It is not enough to dissect the term Sustainability on various, international summits, practical models must be built, to offer the children a little hope.

But it is not just the problem of pundits and politicians, to find a solution. It is also imperative for everyone, who wants to be parent, to work on a better future for your own child. It is being born, without being asked. Ultimately, it is the decision of the woman. A fact, which does not strip the man of his responsibilities toward the child. And the mother!

Man, you had the pleasure, now be a real man, take responsibility. It is your child.

Together, man-woman, everyone, has to take responsibility for what happens right now and what might happen in the near future.

Every child has the right to pursue it’s happiness, it should not need to fight for survival in a changing and over populated world.

And let’s not forget, even the older people are nothing, but the children of their parents. Children rights are just an extension to human rights. Everyone hopes, that the future will be bright and not bleak. This light of hope is dwindling for our children. Everyone at the age of 40-50 today, will be old at the middle of this century. The children of today will be 40-50 years of age at the same time.

Today it is still possible to counter act population growth and Climate Change. In 40 years it will not be possible. Then, people will only be reacting.

Children have a right to a bright future. Children’s Rights, right now!

An impressive share, I just given this onto a colleague who was doing a bit evaluation on this. And he in reality purchased me breakfast because I found it for him.. smile. So let me reword that: Thnx for the deal with! But yeah Thnkx for spending the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love reading extra on this topic. If doable, as you grow to be expertise, would you mind updating your weblog with more particulars? It’s highly useful for me. Big thumb up for this blog publish!
