Some Photos from Charles Clore Park Photos in Tel Aviv, Israel.

The salient characteristic of the Charles Clore Park is the European nature. Look at all the English lawn in the Near East. English lawn needs a lot of water, of which we don’t have enough. As you can see the lawn is irrigated at noon and a lot of water is being wasted.

As the pictures show there is simply not enough shadow in the park. There are only two drinking fountains and both of them are in exposed to sunshine. The waste baskets are open at the top. Also they are strangely positioned, almost never near the benches.

In short, the park has been built for the pleasure of the donor and not for the need of the population!

*Added: Sorry folks, actually there are 3 Drink fountains and not 2 as I wrote. A more elaborate article will follow shortly.
